I discovered my joy of candle making by accident and it opened up a whole new realm of possibilities. With a bucket of candle supplies never ending support and encouragement from my family, I delved down the rabbit hole. Hours of research, months of testing and I finally found the wax for me. Beeswax. Beeswax has been used for thousands of years for a whole variety of things from medicine and make-up to food preservation and, of course, candles. It is believed that beeswax candles hold purifying property that can cleanse the air while it burns but science has yet to confirm this. I can, however, confirm that beeswax dosen't tend to drip as much as soy or paraffin candles. And burns longer. But that's enough technical talk. Please enjoy shopping with us!
